Already getting dusty from lack of posting!  Can't say that I've really been busy.. I've been doing some knitting here and there. I'm working on a purse for my Mom.  Had to unravel what I had last night though and start over. I think that's a good thing though. Means I'm willing to try again, rather than finish something that I know could look better if I start over.

I finally got a call back from the people to evaluate Azali for speech therapy. I'm wigging out about it because they have to do it here at home. Not a huge issue, but there will be 3 people! 3 strangers I don't know coming into my already small home. Not too mention I have 2 largeish dogs that won't sit by quietly while some strangers they don't know come into the house!

Not sure what I'm gonna do about it though.  Azali still isn't talking, but she's making some different sounds when she chatters.  And I can at least get her to sign please for somethings.

August is here, usually signals the beginning of the end of the year.  August starts and everything goes downhill... sorta...  When I was younger went like this: August - Dad and Rhiannon's Birthday, State Fair starts. September - School starts, Mom's Birthday. October - Blake and Sam's Birthday, Halloween. November - Thanksgiving, Mine and Brit's Birthday. December - Christmas, New Year's.

Since there was always something every month, the year just flew by!

So now I'm worrying that I won't be able to make things in time for Xmas. I'm trying to find things that would be easy and quick to make, but not so generic. I have found a few things, but then I have to get the yarn.

I'm done rambling.  I need coffee... and Azali needs to stop drawing on the walls...

  1. Good luck! Do you know what dates they are going to see her? Maybe Brit can er... Babysit the dogs at Grandma's or something then at least you don't have to worry about them while they are there.

And yeah I kept thinking the same thing. Well there goes another year already. I wanted to grasp it for all it had but it slipped right through my fingers.

  2. They haven't given me a date yet for them to see her. Even if I could relocate the dogs, the thought of three strangers in my small house has me on edge.
